Opportunity Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a German Credit Controller to join Marc Daniels, a successful multi-sited company based in the UK.

Located near Slough with car parking onsite, this role offers a competitive package and a supportive working environment.

Job Responsibilities

As a German Credit Professional, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 300-350 German accounts.

You will periodically review customer credit limits, recommending appropriate action to ensure timely payment.

A key aspect of this role is exercising discretion and judgment in debt collection through various stages of the Credit Control process.

This includes phone and written communication to chase overdue debt, taking appropriate STOP action and issuing 7-day legal notice.

In some cases, you may pass debt to Senior Credit Controllers to instigate HMCS legal action against customers.

Liaising with customers and management is crucial to ensure swift resolution of queries and enable collection of debt.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience gained in a similar credit control position.
  • Hands-on experience in a high-volume debt collection role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in German.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
