Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in a school environment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:- Support students with SEND in the classroom, providing individualized attention and care
- Assist the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Implement behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful classroom
- Provide personal care support to students as required
- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement individual education plans
- Teaching Assistant Level 1 qualification or equivalent
- Experience working with students with SEND, particularly those with SEMH and ASD
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide personal care support
This role will be based in a classroom setting within a school environment. Some tasks may require physical exertion and personal care assistance.
