Job Summary:
James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Housing Officer - Property Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring the smooth operation of our housing management systems, and providing exceptional customer service to our tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a patch of 350 residential properties, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs
- Deal with low to medium level Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) incidents, working closely with tenants and other stakeholders to resolve issues
- Ensure the effective management of void properties, minimizing rent loss and other costs
- Manage the allocations process, including nominations, mutual exchanges, and transfers, ensuring the integrity of our housing management systems
- Provide tenancy management services, ensuring tenants adhere to agreements and resolving any disputes
- Conduct new tenant visits, mutual exchanges, and termination of tenancies, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social housing, with a strong understanding of housing management systems and regulations
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to deal with difficult tenants and resolve conflicts
- Experience of managing medium to low level ASB incidents, with a focus on de-escalation and resolution
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with tenants, colleagues, and other stakeholders
