Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Projects to lead our cooling projects team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider, overseeing the successful execution of cooling projects from initiation to completion.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, technical knowledge of cooling systems, and excellent communication skills. You will be working closely with clients to understand their cooling requirements and develop project plans that align with their needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Cooling Projects Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their cooling requirements and develop project plans that align with their needs and expectations.
  • Project Resource Management: Coordinate project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Monitor project progress, track milestones, and take necessary actions to mitigate risks and address issues.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including internal resources and external contractors, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution, maintaining regular communication and addressing any concerns or issues.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or Advanced Qualifications in Engineering or a related field (Preferred)
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Head of Projects or Senior Project Manager in the cooling technologies industry, preferably within commercial and industrial projects.
  • Skillset: Strong knowledge of cooling systems, HVAC, refrigeration, and associated equipment; demonstrated project management skills, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and budget control.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is £90,000 + package, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
