Job details

The Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapy Specialist to join their team. This permanent position involves working with service users, delivering specialist assessments and mental health interventions, and contributing to assessment, care planning, and evaluation.

Key responsibilities
  • Holding a caseload of service users and delivering a variety of specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and mental health interventions.
  • Leading on the Occupational Therapy contribution to assessment, interventions, care planning, and evaluation.
  • Ensuring that individuals referred to the service have their occupational needs assessed and interventions/recommendations identified to meet these needs.
Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience in adult mental health services.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. A salary of £40,000-£60,000 per annum is offered, depending on experience. Benefits include 25 days annual leave, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
