Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MSK physiotherapist to join our team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals NHS Trust. As a specialist physiotherapist, you will play a key role in leading and delivering MSK services, working closely with consultants, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy MSK department within an acute hospital setting. As a specialist physiotherapist, you will be responsible for managing primary and secondary care referrals, including post-operative and trauma management. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in OPD MSK clinics, fracture clinics, hand therapy, and hydrotherapy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage primary and secondary care referrals, including post-operative and trauma management
  • Develop and lead MSK services, working closely with consultants, GPs, and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including OPD MSK clinics, fracture clinics, hand therapy, and hydrotherapy
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
  • Registered with Health and Care Professions Council
  • Evidence of specialist clinical training in relevant areas
  • Broad range of pre- and post-qualification experience
