About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Practitioner to join our team. As a Lead Practitioner, you will be responsible for mentoring and supervising social workers, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent care to our service users.
You will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring that our service users receive the best possible support. You will also be responsible for conducting complex assessments and safeguarding enquiries, and working with external agencies to provide support to our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Mentor and supervise social workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent care to our service users.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, working closely with our team to ensure that our service users receive the best possible support.
- Conduct complex assessments and safeguarding enquiries, and work with external agencies to provide support to our service users.
- Work closely with our team to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure the safety and well-being of our service users.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in adult social care as a social worker.
- Experience of supervising or mentoring social worker staff.
- Experience of complex case work.
