Job Title: NHS Pharmacy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NHS Pharmacy Specialist to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong clinical pharmacy service to the gastroenterology ward on a rotational basis. You will be responsible for providing a holistic, specialist pharmaceutical care service to patients receiving high-risk, high-cost medication, delivered via Homecare services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a clinical pharmacy service to the gastroenterology ward on a rotational basis.
  • Support the provision and development of a specialist pharmaceutical care service to patients receiving high-risk, high-cost medication.
  • Support the services provided to outpatients and endoscopy and provide a clinical pharmacy service to the daycase unit.
  • Help provide a ward-based clinical pharmacy service according to Trust agreed standards.
  • Participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and provide pharmaceutical advice to prescribers and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to Master's Degree level (MPharm or equivalent).
  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Post Graduate Diploma/MSc in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent.
