PCB Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PCB Design Engineer to join our team at ACS Performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing PCB layouts, electrical schematics, and diagrams, as well as assisting in mechanical design and supporting Manufacturing Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design PCB layouts and electrical schematics for high voltage power supplies and control electronics.
  • Enter schematics from design engineering sketches.
  • Create and modify 3D models and assemblies, including piece part information.
  • Generate and maintain part information and bills of materials.
  • Maintain the PCB library and DCC drawing system.
  • Ensure adherence to the Company's ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and Health and Safety management systems.
Requirements:
  • HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven expertise and experience in PCB design (preferably to IPC Standard) and mechanical design, with knowledge of analogue, digital, and surface mount technologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD packages for PCB and mechanical design, including Cadstar, eCadstar, Board Modeller, Inventor, and AutoCAD.
