About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team at Lidl GB. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out structural maintenance in our stores and warehouses, as well as attending to general building and labouring work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our stores and warehouses
  • Use your decorating skills to paint and tile, and confidently carry out general plumbing duties
  • Undertake PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) visits to identify and repair faults
  • Work proactively to maintain a safe and efficient working environment

Requirements

  • Experience in general maintenance work, with a strong focus on problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Strong numeracy skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Flexibility with regards to working hours, including some evenings and weekends
  • Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ or BTEC, are desirable
