Care Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Ruddington Manor Care Centre. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centred care to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life, engaging in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
- Contribute to the efficient and effective running of the care home, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.
- Assist residents with their daily needs, including personal care, medication, and meal times.
- Contribute to the daily records of residents, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
- Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults, adhering to our policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Care Assistant in a care environment is desirable.
- Care certificate or equivalent, or a willingness to achieve this within the first 12 months of employment.
- Good knowledge of care practices, particularly in relation to the care of older people.
- Ability to work in a team, demonstrating self-motivation and confidence.
