Probate Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced part-time probate solicitor to join our busy department, supporting the Senior Partner.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a proactive approach, excellent client care skills, and the ability to deal with client matters in a sensitive manner.

The role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 (pro-rata) and benefits including 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own caseload of probate cases using a case management system
  • Use our case management system to ensure accurate recording of information
  • Engage with clients mainly by telephone and email, but also in person if required
  • Manage other work including wills, powers of attorney, and estate administration
Requirements
  • Qualified as a solicitor or legal executive in private practice (prefer STEP qualification) with a minimum of 2 years PQE, or equivalent experience in probate law
  • Ability to use initiative and effectively prioritise and organise work in a professional environment
  • Client-focused approach with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
