As a Customer Delivery Driver with the John Lewis Partnership, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth delivery of products to our customers. About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Customer Delivery team as a Driver Trainee. As a Driver Trainee, you will be responsible for completing the 12-month Customer Delivery Driver Trainee programme to become a fully competent John Lewis Customer Delivery Installer.

As a Driver Installer, your typical day will involve completing daily vehicle checks, loading and checking routes, and undertaking deliveries and collections. You will also be responsible for communicating with customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and providing excellent customer service.

As a Technician, you will spend a high proportion of your working day completing installation and assembly services in customers' homes. You will operate as a member of the Customer Delivery team based in one of our Customer Delivery Hubs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and follow correct defect reporting procedures
  • Load and check routes, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery
  • Undertake deliveries and collections, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Communicate with customers, providing excellent customer service
  • Complete installation and assembly services in customers' homes
Requirements:
  • Previous driving experience
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role
  • Valid C1 Driving Licence (with a maximum of 6 points)
