As a Customer Delivery Driver with the John Lewis Partnership, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth delivery of products to our customers. About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Customer Delivery team as a Driver Trainee. As a Driver Trainee, you will be responsible for completing the 12-month Customer Delivery Driver Trainee programme, which will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a fully competent John Lewis Customer Delivery Installer.

As a Driver Installer, you will be responsible for delivering and installing a wide range of products to our customers, ensuring that every delivery is made with the highest level of customer service. You will work closely with your colleagues to ensure that all deliveries are completed efficiently and effectively.

As a Technician, you will be responsible for completing installation and assembly services in customers' homes, ensuring that every installation is completed to the highest standard. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide a personalized service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and install products to customers' homes, ensuring that every delivery is made with the highest level of customer service.
  • Complete the 12-month Customer Delivery Driver Trainee programme to become a fully competent John Lewis Customer Delivery Installer.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure that all deliveries are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Complete installation and assembly services in customers' homes, ensuring that every installation is completed to the highest standard.
  • Provide a personalized service to customers, understanding their needs and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Previous driving experience.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, both over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role, including heavy lifting.
  • A valid C1 driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
