Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Design and Project Manager/Engineer to join our team at Powerrun Pipe-Mech Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and project management of our pipework and steelwork projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Project Management

Develop and implement 3D design solutions for pipework and steelwork using Solidworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Fabrication Control

Oversee the fabrication of pipework through our workshop, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Stakeholder Liaison

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project success.

Financial Management

Participate in monthly finance meetings to review project performance and provide forecasting insights.

Site Management

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Contractual Documents

Prepare and complete contractual documents, primarily NEC3 and NEC4, to ensure accurate and compliant project execution.

Procurement

Collaborate with the purchasing department to procure materials and ensure timely delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong design and project management skills, with experience in 3D design and Solidworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
