Job Title: Building and Facilities Manager

Coyle Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building and Facilities Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and managing a team of facilities staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the upkeep of office facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of facilities staff, including cleaning, maintenance, and other support services.
  • Develop and implement facilities management strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall work environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and databases related to facilities management, including maintenance schedules, inventory, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of facilities management with business operations.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to ensure business continuity and minimize disruptions.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services and materials.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement training programs for facilities staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in facilities management, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of managing and maintaining facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • IWFM certification.
  • Fire Warden qualification.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Experience of emergency co-ordination.
  • Manual Handling Training.
