About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cargo Handler to join our team at Right Now Recruitment. As a Cargo Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading parcels onto X-Ray machines, conveyor belts, and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading parcels in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Using hand-held scanners to scan parcels as they travel through the facility
  • Adhering to Health and Safety legislation at all times
  • Working in a team environment to meet productivity and quality standards
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Ability to lift and move heavy parcels (up to 25kg)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability to work part-time shifts, including weekends and early mornings

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to wear safety boots and steel toe-capped boots, and will be expected to adhere to all Health and Safety procedures.

Training and Development

Right Now Recruitment will provide Aviation Security Training (Cargo Operative Training) prior to starting the role, and will also apply for a DBS check on behalf of the successful candidate.

Employment Details

This is a part-time position, with a minimum of 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and early mornings.
