Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Legislation and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Consilium Recruit. As a key member of our Marine team, you will play a critical role in supporting the product certification process and ensuring compliance with global hydrogen and marine standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Marine team through the product certification process, interpreting and complying with various global hydrogen and marine standards.
  • Act as an interface for external parties, exchanging testing and witnessing requirements and cascading requirements to the engineering and calibration teams.
  • Oversee multiple complex schedules, setting priorities for internal teams and advising Company management of the legislation/compliance project statuses on a regular basis.
  • Develop new project legislation approval and coordinate the efforts of the engineering and production departments to ensure programs are conducted in accordance with the safety standard requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance requirements into the development process and coordinate prototype certification testing to qualify new designs/systems.
  • Ensure compliance to safety analysis, including DFMEA, HAZID, HAZOP, HAT, and SAT, and supply ongoing training to the engineering teams, acting as a resource and mentor for technical guidance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering, business, or a related field of study.
  • Experience in advocacy and engagement with regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to travel internationally to no more than 20% of the overall working pattern annually.
  • Computer and software systems skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
