About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our team as a Specialist Teacher within our Enhanced Pathway Provision. As a key member of our inclusion team, you will play a pivotal role in developing our provision for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans to support each pupil's unique needs and abilities.
  • Use innovative teaching methods and resources to engage and inspire young learners.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and our wider inclusion team to ensure holistic support for pupil's development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and growth.
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and its impact on learning.
  • Confidence in the classroom and ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • High expectations of what can be achieved by children with SEN.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility, a good sense of humour, and an understanding of the 'bigger picture'.
  • Ability to work to own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Confidence and enthusiasm for using and embracing IT and outdoor learning in practice.
  • Flexibility, hard work, and a passion to make a difference in the lives of our young learners.
  • Keen to explore leadership opportunities.
  • Genuine passion for inclusive education and a commitment to making a difference.
