Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist for Adults

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Mersey Care, a leading provider of mental health services in the North West. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adults with mental health conditions, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

About the Role

  • Providing comprehensive assessments and treatment plans for adults with mental health conditions
  • Leading and managing a team of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
  • Participating in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contributing to the development of clinical policies and guidelines

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management
  • Approved clinician status or ability to achieve within 3 months of appointment
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in adult psychiatry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
