About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled leader to join our team as the Head of Service for Mental Health, Learning Disability, and Autism. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the adult social care team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality services, ensuring that the needs of service users are met effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with external partners, stakeholders, and agencies to enhance service delivery and promote best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of adult social care services, identifying areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring financial sustainability and value for money.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within adult social care or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in adult social care.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
