About the Role: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Watermead County Park team as a Parkland Habitat Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with our team to undertake various park habitat management tasks and maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake habitat management jobs and maintenance work in a team environment.
- Contribute to the upkeep of Watermead County Park's natural beauty and biodiversity.
- Maintain a high level of fitness to ensure safety during outdoor work.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A reasonable level of fitness is required for this role.
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to try different tasks are essential.
Working Conditions:
- The role involves working in wet areas, on uneven ground, and near water courses.
- Woodland work may be required, and a health and safety talk will be provided before each session.
- A tea break is included, so please bring a snack and hot drink.
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
