About the Role:
As a skilled Chef de Partie, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team at the Odney Hotel, a unique Partnership-owned hotel set in 130 acres by the River Thames in Cookham, Berkshire. Our hotel offers a beautiful and charming atmosphere, with character and charm to our guests. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the kitchen and providing a consistently high-quality dining experience while maintaining sales, reputation, and profit of the kitchen as agreed by the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce high-quality dishes in accordance with our hotel offer
Assist in the day-to-day running of the kitchen by producing agreed menus to a high standard
Supervise the department when required and provide guidance to the Commis Chef
Control stock and minimize wastage
Requirements:
Relevant professional chef qualifications: City & Guilds diplomas in professional cookery, BTEC HNC in professional cookery or equivalent
Experience working in a professional kitchen, with a creative and professional demeanor
Ability to work under pressure, demonstrating flair and a good palate
