The Job

We are looking for a High-Voltage Systems Engineer to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical infrastructure design and implementation, with a focus on high-voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-voltage systems for new connections or upgrades
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory and policy elements affecting electricity markets and network operators
  • Support masterplan studies on pathways to decarbonisation, including feasibility assessments and impact analysis
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop detailed designs of electrical infrastructure

Requirements

  • Experience working with distribution network operators, independent network connection providers, and other market entities in the UK
  • Qualification to degree level in relevant discipline (Electrical Engineering) or equivalent experience
  • Commercial knowledge of customer bases and their business drivers
  • Demonstrated commercial, technical, and business acumen, particularly in complex project and solution sales
