Job Title: Assistant Shop Team Lead

National Council of Young Men's Christian Associations (YMCA) England & Wales is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Shop Team Lead.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, a strong understanding of retail operations, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We are offering a competitive salary of £23,010 per annum, with 37.5 hours worked per week.

As an Assistant Shop Team Lead, you will support the Store Manager in leading a team of staff and volunteers, managing store operations, and achieving sales targets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Store Manager in daily operations and decision-making;
  • Leading a team of staff and volunteers to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction;
  • Managing stock levels and inventory;
  • Maintaining high standards of store presentation and cleanliness;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to improve processes and procedures.
