Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to lead our project team in delivering a new hyper-scale data centre facility in West London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the on-site operation to ensure each stage of the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the on-site operation to ensure each stage of the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Engage and work with vendors to ensure the delivery of the project.
  • Monitor the program and project timeline to ensure each phase is delivered on time.
  • Manage materials purchasing to ensure projects are delivered on budget.
  • Take ownership of the general contractor's delivery of the installation of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Ensure that all on-site activity is delivered within the health and safety guidelines.
  • Support the commissioning and handover at the end of the project.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Experience in leading Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing projects for large new-build Data Centres with an M&E package of around £100M.
  • Previous experience of working on data centre projects will be of benefit.
  • Candidates will be considered if experience is with either mechanical or electrical bias and from other large critical facilities environments.
