Adult Mental Health Consultant Psychiatrist Position in London

South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust seeks a highly skilled Adult Mental Health Consultant Psychiatrist to join their team in London.
About the RoleThis substantive position offers 10 PAs, with an optional extra 1PA for a 2-year fixed term period. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical leadership and psychiatric care to patients under the care of the team, as well as leading on the training of core and higher psychiatry trainees.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver effective, efficient, and safe recovery-focused mental health care.
- Provide medical leadership in the multi-disciplinary team and work closely with Consultant Psychiatrists and other teams.
- Initiate medication and deliver day-to-day clinical care, including risk assessment, risk management, and compiling patient histories.
- Liaise with general practitioners, medical specialists, and other clinical teams within and outside the trust.
