Voyage Care Ltd is looking for a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team at our residential service in Taunton. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of the people we support.



Key Responsibilities


  • Help people to gain more independence in their daily lives, assisting with daily routines and activities.
  • Support the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management of the service, including allocating shifts, booking training, and inducting new colleagues.
  • Assist with supervision, ordering medication, and supporting individuals with managing their finances.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the highest standard of care and support is provided to the people we support.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, and traumatic backgrounds.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
