NHS Grampian Estates Maintenance Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our team at NHS Grampian Estates Department. As a key member of our maintenance support service, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital and healthcare facilities in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of various plant and equipment within our healthcare facilities.
  • Work collaboratively with our maintenance team to provide a high-quality maintenance support service.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of our facilities and equipment to ensure effective maintenance and repair.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £24,647 - £26,763 (pro rata) per annum, plus excellent terms and conditions, including 27 days annual leave + 8 public holidays, with incremental increases at 5 and 10 years service.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in facilities maintenance, working on a variety of plant and equipment, preferably within a healthcare environment. You will also need to be able to work effectively as part of a team and have good communication skills.
