About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Land and New Homes Manager to join our team at Allen and Harris. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for winning instructions to new sites and developing relationships with developers and land owners in the Glasgow area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forge and Develop Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with land owners, developers, and companies in the area to secure new site instructions and develop business opportunities.
  • Winning Instructions: Secure meetings with developers to win instructions to new sites and negotiate profitable terms.
  • Sole Agency: Gain and maintain sole agency agreements with land owners and developers to ensure exclusive representation.
  • Compliance: Gather and maintain compliance files for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks.
  • Relationship Development: Develop and maintain high-standard relationships with developer clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Central Point of Contact: Serve as the central point of contact for Regional Sales Managers and Sales Directors.
  • Team Collaboration: Encourage Estate Agency Branch staff to improve their Land and New Homes business.
  • Site Evaluation: Be aware of new sites in the area and evaluate potential opportunities for the company.
  • Disposal of Development Opportunities: Win instructions for the disposal of development opportunities for land owners in both the private and public sector.
  • New Homes Sales: Secure new homes sales instructions from the developer industry at advantageous and profitable terms.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in New Homes Sales with an Estate Agency or builder/developer.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build relationships and deliver sales in a target-driven environment.
  • Customer Care: Outstanding customer care/customer service experience.
  • Skills: Resilient, positive, organized, numerate, and detail-oriented.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, able to work autonomously, and act on your own initiative.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • IT Literacy: IT literate (MS Office, internet, email systems).
  • Development Land: Proven track record in the acquisition and disposal of development land.
  • Land and Development Appraisals: Experience of undertaking land and development appraisals and valuations.
  • Presentation: High level of presentation experience.
  • Pressure and Deadlines: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Driving License: Full UK driving license and ability to travel is essential.
