Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Scientist to join our team at the Spire Histology Centre Manchester. As a Biomedical Scientist, you will play a crucial role in providing exemplary patient care and contributing to the success of our laboratory.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the SHC team in the provision of exemplary patient care
  • Participate in specimen reception, dissection, tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, special stains, IHC, IQC/IQA, and annual mandatory training
  • Participate in the training of junior members of staff and maintain a personal CPD portfolio

Requirements

  • State registered BMS with a minimum of 3 years' experience of working in a busy UK histology lab
  • Good team work ethic, flexible, and adaptive
  • Enthusiastic and energetic professional
