About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Engineer to join our team as a Design and Delivery Specialist. As a key member of our national team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of project delivery, with a focus on the design and delivery of Water Services, Above and Below Ground Drainage, and Fire Suppression systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Design and Delivery: Contribute to the overall design and delivery of projects, including the identification of opportunities for digital automation and optimization of building systems.
  • Technical Risk Management: Monitor and manage technical risk throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concepts to site visits.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise and interact with other UK Building Services teams, as well as our Overseas Resourcing Centres, to deliver projects from a wide range of sectors.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, including the development of design solutions and the implementation of design throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Pursue continuous professional development, including working towards chartership with a recognized institution, and promoting the field of Public Health.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a solid grounding in engineering principles and an inquisitive nature and enthusiasm for the built environment. You will also need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant subject, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience with leading and coordinating all aspects of project delivery, with a focus on Public Health.
  • Strong technical knowledge in the field of Public Health and Fire Suppression, including Water Services, Above Ground Drainage, and Below Ground Drainage.
  • Proficient in using Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel, and Revit.
