Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SEN teacher to join our dedicated team at Sladewood Academy, part of the SAND Academy Trust.

The successful applicant will have a passion for working with children who have special educational needs and disabilities, and be able to see the 'whole' child.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with young people with autism and speech and language delays, and be committed to the education of pupils with a wide range of learning and associated difficulties.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with colleagues to improve outcomes and opportunities for our students, and be able to think creatively about how to meet their needs.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £28,762 - £41,412 per annum (Main Scale salary with SEN 1 allowance).

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants will need to have a degree in Education or a related field, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
