Job Title: General Practice Manager

ProTalent Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Practice Manager to join their team in Ipswich. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, leading a team, and driving business growth.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, with support from a junior
  • Lead a team and support business growth
  • Liaise with new and existing clients
  • Review and sign off accounts, with some preparation required
  • Prepare accounts for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders, and charities
  • Prepare corporation tax returns and self-assessment tax returns
  • Support clients with accounting and taxation issues
  • Prepare management accounts and support the company's brand
  • Build strong team relationships and work collaboratively
  • Meet internal and external deadlines, and work in line with company behaviours and organisational culture
Requirements:
  • ACCA, ACA, or AAT qualification (or equivalent by experience)
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in practice, preferably currently working in practice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to judge priorities and make decisions quickly
  • Solid understanding of tax and ability to advise clients
  • Ability to solve problems, take responsibility, and add value to the team immediately
  • Able to work independently
