As a Safety Case Advisor at National Nuclear Laboratory, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our operations. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement safety cases, ensuring that our activities adhere to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage safety cases, ensuring that operations adhere to strict safety protocols.
  • Provide specialist safety case advice, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and generating the necessary documentation to meet safety case requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define, implement, and deliver innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Review and validate safety-related information, ensuring attention to detail and a keen eye for safety protocols.
  • Communicate complex safety concepts to diverse stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise communication.
Requirements
  • A solid understanding of safety cases and their development, including knowledge of radiation, contamination, and criticality hazards.
  • Ability to obtain SC level security clearance.
  • Transferable skills from regulated industries, such as oil, gas, or transportation.
  • Continuous learning and a hunger for innovative solutions to complex safety challenges.
