Job Title: 3D AutoCAD Design Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled 3D AutoCAD Design Manager to join our team at IA Interior Architects. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for providing design support primarily in project administration, design development, and contract documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage contract documents (CDs) to ensure compliance with firm standards, mechanical, building systems, codes, and ADA requirements.
  • Manage client relationships for small and medium-sized projects from initiation through completion, including work performed by internal and external resources.
  • Coordinate with senior technical staff and design staff to provide technical solutions for design dilemmas.
  • Manage project through contract administration phase, ensuring adherence to set budget and informing senior management of any potential variances.
  • May mentor junior designers and oversee tasks and provide feedback on work product.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of architecture or design school, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in corporate interior design projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of design principles and standards.
  • Intermediate documentation and field observational skills.
  • Working knowledge of building systems, codes, and ADA requirements.
  • Intermediate MS Office Suite skills.
  • Advanced Revit skills.
