A. Kahn Design Ltd. is seeking a talented and experienced 3D Wheel Designer to join our team in West Yorkshire.

In this role, you will be responsible for transforming existing 2D wheel designs into detailed 3D CAD models, ensuring they are optimized for production by global manufacturers.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the original design intent throughout the development process and effectively resolve any technical challenges that may arise.
  • Optimize wheel CAD models for specific manufacturing methods, ensuring efficient and high-quality production.
  • Determine precise wheel fitments and specifications for each project, collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders.
  • Provide expert technical guidance on wheel development projects and related accessories.
  • Contribute to non-automotive design projects as needed, leveraging your creative skills and expertise.
Skills & Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or a related field is essential.
  • Proven experience in wheel design is required, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of various wheel production technologies and methods is crucial for success in this role.
  • Expert proficiency in 3D software such as Rhino or Alias is essential for creating accurate and detailed models.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, will be beneficial for visual communication and presentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong project management abilities and a self-motivated approach are essential for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
