beBee Professionals is seeking a skilled Education Substitute Coordinator to join our team in Rhondda, United Kingdom. As a key member of our school community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of student learning during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering effective lesson plans and managing classroom behavior.
  • Working closely with teaching staff to understand student needs and deliver targeted support, promoting academic excellence and student achievement.
  • Maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment, adhering to school policies and procedures.
  • Providing constructive feedback to teaching staff on student progress, informing instruction and improving outcomes.
  • Supporting students with their learning, adapting to individual needs and abilities.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment, minimizing disruptions and maximizing instructional time.
  • Contributing to administrative tasks as required, enhancing the overall efficiency of the school.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided to ensure your success.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse classroom environments.
  • Patience and a positive attitude toward supporting students, fostering a growth mindset and promoting academic achievement.
  • Flexibility to work on short notice when required, demonstrating a commitment to student success and the well-being of the school community.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all students.
