One Wales is an innovative service aimed at providing engagement, support and diversion for Women and Young Adults (18-25) from the criminal justice system including at first contact within police custody.
The One Wales is a partnership between Nelson Trust, Media Academy Cymru, PACT, St Giles and BtheChange dedicated to reducing reoffending and diverting people into appropriate support at the earliest opportunity.
We are looking for a Women's Keyworker to provide holistic support and coordinated interventions for women at any point of the Criminal Justice System. This includes women at risk, women at first point of contact as part of OOCD or diversion, women under supervision of probation and women released from HMP Eastwood Park. We are looking for Keyworkers to cover the areas of either Gwent, Swansea or RCT.
As a Keyworker you will offer gender-responsive, trauma informed practical and emotional support and interventions to address needs with housing, substance misuse, health, finance, previous trauma, children & families and education, training and employment with the aim of reducing social harms and re-offending whilst empowering women to access opportunities to reach their full potential.
