About the Role:

Ferrovial Construction is seeking a highly skilled Section Engineer to join our team at Heathrow Airport. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the construction site to achieve project delivery objectives while maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set a high personal example of safety and environmental behavior.
* Supervise subcontractors, assistant and site engineers and work force, ensuring they understand RAMS before commencing work.
* Check shift engineers' setting out to ensure accuracy and adherence to responsibilities.
* Maintain reasonable survey book standards and daily diaries.
* Support the project manager and attend coordination meetings with stakeholders and subcontractors.

Requirements:

* Successful experience at a management engineering level in construction, specifically in civil engineering and/or utilities.
* Demonstrated application of growing commercial and contractual knowledge.
* Experience of working in a cost-conscious environment.
* Good people management experience, including managing subcontractors and stakeholders.
