About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Team Member to join our team in Dunstable. As a Store Team Member, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales in our store.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring that every customer leaves the store feeling valued and satisfied.
- Respond to customer queries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Sales and Merchandising
- Operate the till and accurately handle cash, credit/debit card, and gift card transactions.
- Carry out stock replenishment, ensuring that all areas of the store remain tidy and well-stocked.
- Contribute to visual merchandising, ensuring that the store is well-presented and inspiring to our customers.
- Product Knowledge
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of our products and be able to advise customers on their suitability.
- Be confident in approaching customers who may require assistance while on the shop floor.
About You
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about arts and crafts. You will have:
Retail Experience- Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a sales or customer-facing role.
- A strong interest in arts and crafts, with a willingness to learn and develop your knowledge of our products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
