We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our client's engineering design team. This team is responsible for designing and manufacturing leading edge, high reliability monitoring tools for an international market.

The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of electronics skills, including familiarity with analogue electronics, digital electronics and embedded software development.

Responsibilities will include designing the next generation of products, as well as supporting the existing product range. Skills sought will include:

  • Familiarity with analogue and digital electronics
  • Familiarity with micro-controller systems including embedded C
  • Schematic capture and board layout using Altium or similar
  • Ability to write, review and update technical documents
  • Experience in electronics test and fault-finding to component level

Qualifications and skills sought will include a degree in electronics or a similar field, with over 5 years' commercial experience.

Beneficial skills include:

  • Experience of FPGA's using VHDL
  • Experience in design for High Temperatures and/or High Voltage design
  • Experience of DSP based communication systems
  • Experience of switch mode DC/DC power supplies and charging systems
