Health and Safety Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Professional to join our team at the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide support in ensuring the delivery of an efficient and effective Health and Safety Service.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional safety advice to Management and appointed officers to support the progression of Health and Safety Improvement Plans.
- Research and analyse health and safety information, identify areas of concern through trend analysis, and prepare reports to assist in the management of health and safety.
- Liaise with managers, employees, and stakeholders across the Service to engage, develop, and maintain effective working relationships.
- Hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Be a Graduate Member of Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (Grad IOSH).
- Have proven experience of health and safety management systems and sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and its application.
This is a full-time opportunity, working 35 hours per week, with a salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum. We are an Equal Opportunities employer and encourage applications from all sectors of the community.
