Job Title: Accommodation Office Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accommodation Office Team Leader to join our team at Slough Children First. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to your team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of our residential service, ensuring that all aspects of care and support meet the needs of our young people.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and support your team members, providing regular feedback and coaching to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all aspects of our service meet the highest standards of quality, including health and safety, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with our young people, their families, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all communication is clear, concise, and respectful.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to our service, ensuring that we remain responsive to the needs of our young people and their families.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience of working in a residential care setting, with a strong understanding of the needs of young people and their families.
  • Qualifications: Hold a relevant qualification in social care or a related field, such as a diploma or degree in social work or youth work.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Standards Act 2000.
