**Role Overview**

We are looking for a skilled professional to lead the development and management of our End of Life volunteering service. The successful candidate will have a strong background in customer service, volunteering, and Equality & Diversity legislation.

This is a fixed term role funded by Bristol and Weston Hospitals Charity, providing an opportunity to make a positive impact on patient care and improve the experience of patients and their loved ones.

**Key Accountabilities**

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive End of Life Care Volunteer program
  • Manage a team of End-of-Life Care Volunteers to provide support and comfort to patients and their families
  • Work in partnership with clinical teams and specialist palliative care teams to identify patients who would benefit from support

**Person Specification**

  • Excellent customer service skills, including handling queries, complaints, and sensitive information
  • Knowledge of Equality & Diversity legislation in relation to recruitment
  • Previous experience of volunteering or working with volunteers
  • Proven ability to use Microsoft Office and related packages
