Cable Route Project Manager

Mint Selection is seeking an experienced Cable Route Project Manager to oversee the construction of a 5km cable route connecting to a National Grid substation as part of a BESS project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality standards, addressing technical issues, and maintaining project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all civil construction activities for the cable route and substation connection.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards and address technical issues.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and delivery.
- Monitor resources, budgets, and progress, reporting on key milestones and potential risks.
Requirements:
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid
- Proven experience managing civil construction projects, ideally in the energy or utility sectors.
- Strong knowledge of ICPs and their role in utility projects.
- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is an initial 4-month contract with the option to extend. If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply within.
