We are looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Community Wellbeing team as a Youth Development Officer. In this role, you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to address the needs of young people, develop and implement effective strategies to promote youth engagement, and build strong relationships with local communities. The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Previous experience in community development and project management;
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with various stakeholders;
  • Proven experience of working with young people in a supportive and empowering role;
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive package of benefits, including agile working arrangements, flexible working hours, 27 days paid annual leave (pro rata if part-time), plus bank holidays, which increases to 30 days after five years' service and 33 days following 10 years' continuous service.
