About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior In-House Counsel to join our team at IPS Group. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a critical role in managing a diverse range of non-contentious legal matters across various teams within the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Group Director of Legal Services and the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for guiding the Group through complex legal landscapes, ensuring compliance, and fostering innovation within the procurement function.
  • You will work closely with various teams, including Procurement, Technical, Construction, and Commercial, to manage a range of legal matters.
  • As a qualified solicitor with a strong commercial and procurement background, you will be instrumental in shaping the Group's legal strategy and providing expert advice to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience gained In House or at a leading private practice firm
  • Strong commercial and procurement background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
