Are you a dedicated PE Teacher looking to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people with special educational needs? TeacherActive is excited to offer an exciting opportunity for a qualified and passionate PE Teacher to join our team of educators working in a specialist SEMH setting.
About the Role:- This role involves working with children and young people aged 11-19 years, all with SEMH needs, communication and interaction challenges, and associated diagnoses such as ADHD, ODD, attachment disorders, and specific learning difficulties (SpLD), among others.
- The successful candidate will have experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs, ADHD, ASD, or other additional needs.
- To plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to individual needs and abilities.
- To develop and maintain effective relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- To stay up-to-date with best practices in PE teaching and incorporate innovative approaches into lessons.
- A recognized teaching qualification (Certificate in Education / PGCE / QTS).
- A valid driving license and own vehicle or ability to travel to the site.
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
- Competitive salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
