Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Primary School PE Teacher - Special Needs to join our team at a special needs primary school in Harrow. As a Qualified Primary PE Teacher for SEND Pupils, you will play a key role in supporting the physical development and well-being of pupils with complex needs.

The successful candidate will have experience teaching Pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and be able to adapt physical activities to meet their diverse physical and cognitive abilities.

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated PE lessons suited to the needs of pupils with ASD and PMLD.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies tailored to pupils with ASD and PMLD, fostering positive engagement.
